Norcom Fit, The true aerodynamic equation is bike + rider = speed. The biggest factor, accounting for 85% of total drag, is the rider. So while it makes sense to design a bike with low drag coefficient numbers, it makes even more sense to design a bike with a wide range of adjustability options that allow every rider – triathlete or time trialist, man or woman, small or tall, flexible or not – to find their perfect aerodynamic position. Norcom Speed, Maximizing speed on a bicycle can be defined as a rider’s ability (power output) to overcome air resistance. In our quest to develop one of the fastest bikes in the world, Fuji made their way to the A2 Wind Tunnel, where they tested, refined, and tested some more, each iteration of the Norcom Straight. The final result: Fuji have one of the fastest bikes in industry – 18% faster across the most common yaw angles than our previous Tri/TT platform: the D-6. Norcom Performance delivered a bike with class-leading adjustability, The Norcom Straight enables both world champion time trialists and age group triathletes to find their perfect position. Fuji have designed it in the wind tunnel to achieve superior aerodynamics. But how does all of that translate into performance? How will the bike perform out on the road?
